Discover Maestranza Restaurante

If you find yourself wandering through the heart of Las Condes, you might want to stop by Maestranza Restaurante, a cozy yet refined spot on Av. Apoquindo 2730, Las Condes, Región Metropolitana, Chile. This place is where tradition meets innovation, offering diners a chance to enjoy both familiar flavors and inventive dishes.

Walking into Maestranza, you're immediately greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that balances modern chic with a touch of rustic charm. It’s the kind of restaurant where you feel comfortable yet pampered. The décor is thoughtful, featuring natural materials like wood and stone, paired with contemporary lighting that gives the space an inviting glow.

But let’s talk about the food - and there’s a lot to love here. Maestranza’s menu offers a fusion of Chilean and international dishes, each crafted with precision and fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a light meal or a hearty feast, there’s something to please every palate.

A standout dish is the “Pastel de Choclo,” a traditional Chilean corn pie that perfectly encapsulates the flavors of the region. The rich, savory filling is complemented by a golden, slightly sweet corn topping that contrasts beautifully with the savory layers beneath. It’s comforting and familiar yet elevated to a whole new level.

For those who love seafood, Maestranza delivers an exquisite take on Chilean classics. The “Paila Marina,” a seafood stew filled with fresh fish, shellfish, and a mix of herbs, brings together the best of the ocean in one bowl. It’s flavorful, fragrant, and a testament to the chef’s ability to blend local ingredients with international techniques.

While the food is the obvious highlight, the service here is just as impressive. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, always happy to recommend a wine pairing from their carefully curated list. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or a casual drinker, you’ll find something to complement your meal.

One thing that stands out about Maestranza Restaurante is its commitment to consistency. Whether you’re visiting for a casual lunch with friends or a romantic dinner for two, the quality of the food remains impeccable. Regular patrons often rave about the steady excellence of the dishes, and that’s something that can’t be overlooked in a city where dining experiences vary so greatly.

It’s also worth noting that Maestranza is not just a place to eat but an experience in itself. From the food to the ambiance, every aspect of this restaurant feels thoughtfully designed to transport you to another world, even if it’s just for a meal. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a relaxing evening, the restaurant delivers on every front.

Located in a prime area of Las Condes, Maestranza benefits from being in close proximity to many other attractions. It’s an ideal stop after a day of shopping or exploring the neighborhood, and its proximity to other eateries and cafes makes it an easy choice for those looking to experience the best of Chilean cuisine in the city.

For those who like to plan ahead, reservations are recommended, especially during peak hours. However, the restaurant’s intimate size means it rarely feels overcrowded. You’ll find that even when it’s bustling, the energy is just right-busy but never overwhelming.

Whether you're a local or a visitor to Chile, Maestranza Restaurante offers a taste of authenticity with a touch of sophistication. The combination of friendly service, mouth-watering dishes, and a relaxing atmosphere makes it a must-visit in Las Condes. Next time you’re in the area, take a seat at this beloved restaurant and enjoy what it has to offer.

  • One of my favorite restaurants! I visit frequently and love that they open early and have a fast and efficient service. The menu is focused in relaxed traditional Chilean cuisine, and have a variety of different types of meats, salads and some seafood options as well.

  • We were walking around the food court and saw this little restaurant tucked in the corner. What a great find. One of the best food we had so far. The server spoke English which helped and she was very pleasant.

  • There was a line to be seated, and it was worth the wait. Amazing service, and we tried some delicious typical Chilean dishes, including the horse steak and porotos. The strawberry juice was also very refreshing!

  • Very good food and place to have traditional Chilean cuisine. If you are local or foreigner you will enjoy this place. Ask for the horse entraña - you won’t regret it. Poroto and Tomarican are good comfort foods. Also service is very quick in case you are in a hurry.

  • Ordered the Chilean style pork ribs. Food came out in less than 5 minutes, the pork was incredibly tender, basically falling off the bone. 10/10 would recommend.
